Update on Pocket-A

Visible changes-

Building Signages:Two types of sign-boards have been installed - (1) white 'arrow-boards' indicating building numbers, at alternate T-points leadings to the buildings, and (2) blue boards at the entrance to each building, marking the flat numbers.

Park Work: Levelling work is complete; manure has been brought in
Overall Cleanliness: The sweepers have been keeping the roads clear of litter and garbage.

Guard Room: The structure is nearly complete. Plastering and painting remains to be done.

Link Road: There is some progress on the widening of the road leading to Pocket-A, as well as the one being extended to the expressway underpass.

Changes behind-the-scenes -
Amity Hostellers: 30 of the 110 hostellers have already been shifted to the campus hostels. More are expected to move out in the months to come.
Sewerage repair works: completed
Electricity supply phase-related problem: repaired
Interlocking-tiles for covering car-parking areas: Work is to start within two weeks, and is likely to continue till end of October or mid-November.
